How to Measure Your TV For the Perfect Fit

To figure out the wall or cabinet space your television will need, use a tape measure to determine the horizontal width, height and depth from edge to edge. Include the frame (bezel) around the screen in your measurements.

Step 1: Measure the Depth

Measure from the extreme front of the TV to the extreme back of the TV. Don't include the measurement of an attached TV stand.

Step 2: Measure the Width

Measure horizontally from the left outer edge of the frame to the right outer edge of the frame.

Step 3: Measure the Height

Measure vertically from the extreme top of the TV to the extreme bottom of the TV.
